| THE MOBILE STUDIO |
| Working in stone requires simple tools and materials. The mobile studio arrives on site with all the hand tools and equipment to set up a traditional workshop for a maximum of 12 students at any one time. The stone is delivered directly to the site and a marquee is available where necessary. |
| |
 |
| |
|
| |
| PROJECTS AVAILABLE |
| The mobile studio can cater for a variety of projects, each undertaken with best workshop practice in mind in order to guarantee a high quality end result. To date Kate has taken on larger group projects such as the Hartcliffe Community Totem Pole and the Bay Tree School Remembrance Garden as well as countless smaller theme based projects for individual carvings such as The Green Man, Naïve Birds, Abstracted Animals, Sculpture from the Natural Form. |
| |
| Projects are tailored to meet the aims and objectives of each organisation or client. This may take the form of several individual sculptures or a larger site specific piece which could be for example a bench, large sculpture, drinking fountain, way markers or water feature. |
| |
| Courses run from a minimum of 3 days to longer residences as required. |

|
| WORKING PRACTICE |
| |
Kate believes in executing each project in exactly the same manner as in a
professional workshop. Initially good working methods are discussed with the
students, particularly working safely and efficiently. |
